This is an expert-level, hands-on engineering role with system-wide responsibility. You will work closely with the CTO and engineering teams to evolve our safety and quality practices, advance runtime monitoring and reliability mechanisms, and systematically prepare the organization for future audits and certifications.
Beyond technical ownership, this role carries a strong growth potential: as driveblocks continues to scale, you will play a key role in defining standards, establishing best practices, and building sustainable structures for safety and quality across the organization. Over time, this includes the opportunity to grow into a leadership role, onboarding and mentoring additional engineers.
- Evolve and mature safety-aligned development processes in preparation for future audit and certification requirements (e.g., ASPICE).
- Strengthen traceability across requirements, code, tests, and quality KPIs.
- Define and refine measurable safety and code quality metrics integrated into engineering workflows.
- Advance automated testing strategies across unit, integration, and system levels to ensure robust validation.
- Design and enhance runtime monitoring, fault detection, tracing, and logging mechanisms for on-vehicle software.
- Drive continuous reliability improvements through structured analysis of system behavior and failures.
- Contribute to architectural decisions from a safety and system-wide reliability perspective.
- Collaborate with feature teams to embed safety, monitoring, and quality principles consistently across the platform.
